Training Structure

Our modular Basic Training programme spans 20 extended weekends across four phases, taught as much as possible in the local language.

For our Basic Trainings in different European countries please choose the location from the main menu. The training is conducted in a modular format on 20 extended weekends and has the following four phases.

Phase 1 — 6 extended weekends

  • Muscular, Skeletal and Fascial Anatomy
  • Biomechanics and Structural Integration
  • Physiology and Biochemistry of Fascia
  • To analyse and interpret human structure and movement and devise coherent strategies for manipulative interventions to make improvements in the structure
  • How to conduct yourself in a therapeutic relationship
  • Self-care with exercises to become a competent SI practitioner
  • The Anatomy and Theory of the Basic Ten Series

Phase 2 — 6 extended weekends

  • Practice of the Basic Ten Series by the students on each other

Phase 3 — 5 extended weekends

  • Supervised practice of the Basic Ten Series by each student on three external models

Phase 4 — 3 extended weekends

  • Post-Ten 3-Series
  • Client / Therapist Relationship
  • Research and Case Studies
  • Opening a practice and Business Building / Advertisement

Home Study

In addition to classroom work, students should expect at least 500 hours of home study and practice.

IASI Accreditation

All EGSI Basic Training programmes are accredited by the International Association of Structural Integrators (IASI). Graduates are eligible for IASI membership and can practise internationally.
